My computer is Dual Core. I cannot play, Need for speed-2 on my computer.
It just does not open.
I do not understand why I am facing this problem?

Some games cannot run on my computer.
Need for speed 2 is a very old game and then such problems appear on new computers. That happens because multi core processors are used in computers these days. There are two ways to solve this problem.
The first option is to run this game in compatibility mode. To start Need for speed 2, in compatibility mode right click on the Need for speed 2 icon, on your desktop and then select, Properties. Go to the Compatibility tab and check, “Run the application in compatibility mode“ ; select OS (operating system) as Windows XP ; then just save and apply the settings.
If this doesn't work, disable extra core while the game is running. Start the game and open the Task manager. Go to the Processes and right click, Speed2.exe and select Set affinity.
Remove extra core and click OK.

First of all you need to check your video card memory and then you can solve your problem. Also you need to check that all of your system requirements fulfill the needs of the game you need to install. Also which operating system you are using to run the game and see that this operating system supports the game or not.
To check your video card and its memory go to START and then select run. Once you have the run window type dxdiag and then press enter or click ok a new window will be in front of your here you can select DISPLAY tab and look for total available memory here in case of NEED FOR SPEED game it must be more than 32 MB memory. Also perform the tests for your video drives and check they are working properly.
Do the same thing for your sound drivers and your problem will be solve.
