If you are using Windows 7/8/10, you can try solving this problem by one of these methods. Firstly you should try to check your system’s setting for the system event Notification Services. Follow these steps to do so-
- Press Windows key and R key together.
- Type ‘services.msc’ in the Run dialog box and press enter.
- On the ‘System Event Notification Services’, right-click.
- Click on ‘Restart.’
- Right-click on ‘System Event Notification Services.’
- Click on ‘Properties.’
- Select the startup type to ‘Automatic.’
- Click on ‘Apply.’
- Click on ‘OK.’
If these steps are unable to fix the problem then, try to reset the ‘Winsock Catalog.’ You can also try to uninstall the ‘Windows KB2952664’ update.
