Snapshot operations failed and showing error code 4353

Hello Experts,

I am using the TMS 5.5.1 on my windows operating system. But yesterday one of my snapshot operations failed and showing error code 4353. I uninstalled the program and then again reinstalled it but the error was as previous. Do you have any idea about this?

Please provide me with possible solutions.

Snapshot operations failed and showing error code 4353

Well in Tivoli Storage Manager (TSM) the error code 4353 comes only when the event viewer is corrupted. So it’s not the direct problem with TSM. You need to remove the corrupt event viewer log first. Given link can help you for that:

After that just restart your system, I think the problem will not arise again.

To solve such problem, you can use a professional snapshot program which can take a snapshot of your screen without any conflict.
You can use the Screen Shot program found in the following URL:
http://download.cnet.com/s/screenshot/
This can take several shots and save them in your PC.
