Hello,
This is the first time that I got this type of the error message. Now I am just confused. Usually I use skype on my mobile phone and now I got in on my computer. OS Windows XP.
Today when I logged on an error message appear. Can someone please tell me what this mean and how can it be fix it?

Abstract errors are mostly caused by problems with the backend code that has been used to make the application. Especially if it is a java application, then there should be a problem in calling the abstract methods. But since it is less likely that you were able to access the backend code for Skype and then make changed to it, then you it could be a bug that has just come up in Skype due to some action like virus infection.
The remedy to that will be to remove the Skype application completely from your computer and the install it again. That way all the bugs that were created in the application will be removed when you install it afresh. You can also try running a program to fix registry problems like ccleaner and see if it will solve the problem before you proceed to the uninstallation.
