Hello,

I am trying to run Sketchup7 using WINE 1.1.34 and Ubuntu Karmic. I get the following error message on startup. I have checked the drivers for my graphics card and working properly. Do I need python to initialize QpenGL. What is the cause of this error? How can I fix this Asap? Is this a specific version which could be used? Any idea would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

SketchUp was unable to initialize QpenGL!

Please make sure you have installed the correct

Drivers for your graphics card.

Hallo Thomas,

You will first of all need to make sure that OpenGL is working in Native Linux. You may also need to install Correct Graphics Driver for your hardware.

The best test you can do for OpenGL is to test it with screensavers. Once OpenGL is working Natively on Linux, you can go ahead and do Sketchup Installation.

Tyler
