I need help on finding the best 3D animation programs.
Where can I find industry standard or 3D animation software for an evaluation project in college?
Please let me know if anyone out there has knowledge of this software.

My first choice will be Autodesk 3ds Max 2012. Even though it is complicated and not that so user friendly, you can do amazing work with the software. And of course the price is bit too high.It is about $3,495 in their website. I don't know weather you can afford this price. But it worth for the money you pay that is guaranteed.
My second choice will be Rhinoceros.You can find the different versions from their website.www.rhino3d.com.

Or you can try MessiahStudio 5 pro edition. You can buy online from their website for only $199. They says that the price is normally $1195. It sounds bit weird. From the performance point of view, it gives you maximum output.
If you are looking for a free software, good luck my friend. You wont get a real, complete software for 3D for free.
You may get some trial ones, but with lots of restrictions.
