Hi experts,

Shortcut command of Skype create an exceptional error while I try to open it through it, i.e. – "The application was unable to start correctly (0xc000007b). Click OK to close the application."

WerFault.exe – Application Error

The instruction at 0x699ffdfd referenced memory at 0x00837760. The
memory could not be written.

Click on OK to terminate the program

                                                                          OK

csc.exe – Application Error

The exception Breakpoint
A breakpoint has been reached.
(0x50000003) occurred in the application at location 0x5a19826e.

Click on OK to terminate the program

                                                                          OK

If I open it through its respective folder, it opens but I cannot log in it. It indicates a database error. I have never faced such problem before. Is there anyone who can help me to solve this problem?

Thanks a bunch.

Hi,

This type of error occurs for three reasons:  virus attack, problems in boot and problem in hardware.

At first try to scan your full pc through any updated antivirus and disinfect all the viruses if found. Now reinstall the software. There may be problems in drivers and hardware, try to find these through software.

Hi there user:

This ‘werfault.exe’ error message is a Windows Error Report. Microsoft track and sent the error message relating to your OS. But to tell you honestly, this isn’t a serious problem at all.

To fix this, go to your Control Panel and select System Maintenance. Click Problem Reports and Solutions, and then select Change SettingsàAdvance Settings. Turn it off.

Now you can launch and log-in to your Skype again.

Thanks for asking via techyv.com

Best regards,
