Hi!

I have a desktop machine having Windows XP and trying to install GTA SA on this machine, in the installation process, I noted that my computer system locked up suddenly. I had no option other than ‘restart the computer system’. When I restarted it and observed, I come to know that some files become registered and some does not register.

So I tried to uninstall the entire GTA SA. But in the uninstallation process I faced an error message, I am attaching the screen shot of that error message with this problem and expecting that anyone to please suggest some remedy for me. It is highly requested to please do something as soon as possible in connection with the solutions against this problem.

Hello Willie,

It’s really a bad headache if we can’t install a program properly. As I know GTA SA never conflicts with Windows XP. It’s a rare problem. Never mind, you can’t go to the general uninstallation procedure. Follow the steps below:

Click the start button

Click Run

Type – %System% & press enter

Click program files

Click common files

Click installshield

Click professional

Click runtime

Remove the folder named 0701 folders.

Now you can go for the installation/uninstallation process.

I hope this will solve your problem.

Hello,

You can resolve this problem by deleting all your temporary files and files which you consider you do not need by using disk clean up and then check.

You can initiate disk cleanup by:

Click Start, point to All Programs, point to Accessories, point to System Tools, and then click Disk Cleanup.

You can also refer to the link to help you to initiate disk cleanup,
