How can I setup a Belkin router without using the compact disk? What are the steps for installing up the Belkin router? Please explain briefly.

Setting Up Belkin Router Without The CD

The steps to setup a Belkin router are:

1.Detach the power cord of your Internet Modem from the power supply.

2. To turn off the router unplugging the Belkin router from the electric wall socket as well. (NOTE: About 60 seconds leave both the devices off)

3. Then power on Internet modem first by plugging the power cord back in and wait about 60s until all the lights get stable.

Someone also encounter the problem with Belkin router setup just like:

While Belkin router setup one will see that sometimes the system does not detect the modem. In that scenario just restart the modem and again try the previously given steps.
