I have a CCTV camera, it is written that it’s an RTSP camera, but I don’t know what it means. I read about using 192.168.1.20 as root access for image and video, but it was confusing. Can anybody guide me?

RTSP stands for a real-time streaming protocol. It is a network control protocol designed to be used in entertainment and communications to control media servers.
The protocol is required for controlling and encrypting media from client applications to capturing devices.

To start using the service follow the steps-

1. Download and install VLC media player.

2. Now open local host 192.168.1.20 on the browser and log in with the credentials given by the camera company.

3. Now calibrate the Ip address of the camera.

4. Open VLC and click on the stream network device from the media option and enter the local URL with the port number through which the stream is passed.

5. Do camera settings as in the following image –
