Hi there,

I'd heard about setting up Skype to check on an elderly parents house on a radio show. I'd really like to do that for my parents. How do I set up Skype so that I can check up on them once in a while? They are not good with computers.

Setting up Skype to check on an elderly parent’s house?

It is not necessary to send the data in radio show. All you need is a camera, speakers, and microphone if you want to hear and talk as well. Skype has the option of auto-respond. Therefore, whenever you desire to see that everything is ok, you can simply make a call and Skype will answer automatically.

The procedure is: Go to the option ”Tools” and click on “Options." Then below “Calls” click on “Call settings” and tick the box with the option “ Answer incoming calls automatically." Close the window and you are ready! Every time you will call from now and on you are able to watch your parents.
