I was setting up the DL-Max Webcam for Asus G1S but there was an error on it, a notification was telling me that the CMOS_Camera_D-Max_GD Windows 7 Ultimate 32 bit was failure to set up.

Cannot set up anymore, I used Windows 7 RC1 7100 and it works well recently, and some drivers works fine too and set up properly. Please help.

First check the Driver version and the Windows 7 version. If the driver version is 32 bit and Windows Version is 64 Bit, there will be much conflict. Windows 7 always automatically tires to setup the webcam driver from its own driver collection.

That webcam driver may not necessary be the correct one. When original driver needs to be installed, be sure to remove the default windows webcam driver. Removing the laptop Battery while shutdown for a couple of time, clears the Bios helps the webcam driver setup successfully.

Sometimes Windows 7 driver of Webcam setups successfully but shows the Camera’s Video wrong-side up & down. In these cases, 64 Bit Windows and 64 Bit Driver setup can help solve all of these problems.
