I just installed the NI Security Update 67L8J3QW. When I try to launch a process under the NI Lookout Server, I received an error message. What can I do to get rid of this error?

Server URL not allowed

Lookout cannot download process files from the specified server URL.

Please make sure the server URL is in the Allowed Web Servers list.

Hello,

 

In order to resolve this issue you must first, on the server machine, open the Lookout process and re-export it as a Lookout web client page. Then on the client machine, open the file “lookout.ini” (the initialization file located in the main directory) and create a section for an allowed servers list with the following syntax:

 

[Allowed Web Servers]

 

Finally, add the server URL of the client page underneath the heading.
