I am a newcomer learner of SEO which is a popular tool of freelancing now. I am very much eager know this. May I know the definition of SEO, ways of learning it, and can anyone be a successful freelancer doing SEO task in freelancing website?
SEO Task to be a Freelancer
SEO i-e Search Engine Optimization is the process of choosing the most appropriate targeted keyword phrase (or phrases) related to your client's site. You ensure these keywords rank your client's site highly in search engines. As a freelancer or member of a search engine marketing and promotion company, you will look at the plan for your client's site and make recommendations to increase your client's search engine ranking and website traffic.
SEO contains two strategies to increase the site traffic of which one is ON-Page SEO and other is OFF-PAGE. On Page SEO contains editing and creating meta tags, title tags, and body content of a website page by HTML in such a way that it contains the targeted keywords mostly and effectively. By having many keywords in body content and titles a Search Engine's algorithms system give high priority in its Page Rank i-e PR to that page when related keywords being searched by its user.

Off-Page SEO involves promoting clients website in such a way that most traffic comes to that site. It involves:

1. Writing great articles regarding the nature of website and also using keywords heavily in those articles.
2. Creating Blogs regarding webpage and also commenting on various blogs which and mentioning web address.
3. Video Marketing such as upload a self made video on YouTube containing description,title and tags full of desired keywords.
4. Manual Directory Submission and Forum posting.
5. Social book marking and promoting on Social Networking sites.

And there are many more ways most important is getting backlinks for client's website.

Ohhoo. This is the solution which i looking for. I also don't know about SEO. I hear about SEO and see in freelancing site. But don't understand it. By reading this SEO solution I have understood something. I think, If he tell details system of SEO, new comer well be more than helped. However, this is not so short about SEO. Thanks.
