Secure Build isnt configured correctly build 9600 in Windows 8.1 is a watermark i get after upgrading from Windows 8 to Windows 8.1

My hardware is ASUS and read that on some sites that it affects such models? 

What is the solution and why is this issue with this brand alone?

Secure Build isnt configured correctly build 9600 in Windows 8.1 on Asus

You can fix the watermark, through some BIOS changes. Open your system in BIOS. Then enable Secure Boot Option. In case, you are not able to see the secure boot option, you need to install latest update on BIOS. Then select "Install Intel platform key". Save the changes by pressing F10 and reboot your system.

If this does not resolve your issue, download the patch for Secure boot error (for Windows 8.1 x64).
