Scribus in Windows XP Operating System received an error message

Hi,

I am using Scribus in Windows XP Operating System and I receive the following error message every time I run Scribus. I am looking for an expert’s advice to fix this issue. How to solve this problem? Please suggest me with different solutions. I would be grateful to you. Thanks in advance.

The following programs are missing:

Ghoshscript: You cannot use EPS images Or PostScript Print Preview

Scribus in Windows XP Operating System received an error message

Hi, 

In order to resolve this:

• Go to: File > Preferences
• From the left pane select the ‘External tools’. Check that in ‘PostScript Interpreter’ options, the file location is: gswin32c.exe/ gswin64c.exe.
• Following should be the path mentioned in the text box: C:/Program Files/gs/gs9.05/bin/gswin32c.exe.

• Close the program and reopen it.

Scribus in Windows XP Operating System received an error message

Hi.

In order to resolve this you need to install Ghostscript. Ghostcript is software suite based on intrepeter for Adobe systems postscript. Ghostscript can be used as raster image processor for faster printers or as print engine instead postscript for PDF creation. Ghostscript is avaible for UNIX, BSD, Linux, Mac OS-X, FreeDOS, AMIGA OS, Atari TOS, Plan 9, Qnx and even Microsoft Windows operating systems. For Microsoft Windows you have to download an package an install it. Download you can it from this provided link Ghostscript Windows installer package.
