New laptops from Samsung. Do any one have any information regarding the new laptops and how many different varietions they are providing ? What technology they used in these laptops?

             Samsung held a launch event to reveal a pair of Series 5 laptops running on Ivy Bridge, the 15.6-inch Series 5 notebook and the 14-inch Series 5 500 notebook. And Series 9 laptops running on Ivy Bridge,The 13.3-inch and 15-inch Ultra books will now be running Ivy Bridge as well.  

             Series 5 laptops will yield six-plus hours of battery life, and The 14-inch model will sell for $799.99 and the 15.6 will go for $899.99 Series 9 laptop    battery life is expected to last 9 to 10 hours, and These will start at $1,399 and while they’re running core i5 and i7 processors, both products feature a 3rd generation Intel Core Ivy Bridge processor along with an Nvidia GeForce GPU

              Ivy Bridge processors improves   5% to 15% increase in CPU performance, 25% to 68% increase in integrated GPU performance and Ivy Bridge's temperatures are reportedly 20°C higher compared to other processors

If you are thinking of buying one, you probably want to check Samsung ATIV Book 9 2014 Edition laptop. Though the model is two years old, it still is a great choice. The Samsung ATIV Book 9 2014 Edition laptop comes pre-installed with Microsoft Windows 8.1 and runs on Intel Core i5-4200U 1.6 GHz processor, 8 GB RAM, Intel HD Graphics 4400 GPU, and 128 GB SSD hard drive.

It has a widescreen display at 1920 x 1080 pixels native screen resolution. It weighs 3.92 pounds and measures 0.5 x 12.6 x 8.80 inches.
