I have a Dell laptop and I am curious in whether there is anything I ought to do before running blu-ray?  Is there any program I should add or is there any setting that I should change?

Hi,

If you want to run a blu-ray disc on your Dell system, first make sure that you have a blu-ray drive installed on it. If you have one installed, then you need a blu-ray disc (which I believe you already have) and a blu-ray media player.

You can use the Cyberlink software. Your Dell may have come with that software when you got it as that is one of the many bundled software that come with many Dell systems.

If you don’t have the Cyberlink software, you can request it from Dell (they will send you one with blue-ray support if your computer came with a blue-ray drive).

Thank you. Hope this helps with your current predicament.
