It seems you have not noticed what exactly you are updating in your TAB, instead just went ahead with the update. Now the update could be anything. Normally if you are connected to internet, it in terns searches for updates from Android market for available applications in your TAB. Updating without knowing consequences could be dangerous. It seems that the internet setting and MMS setting got deleted. However, there is nothing to worry about as these settings are easily available from your connection provider (e.g. Vodafone etc.). Call up the help line and normally they will either guide you or send you the settings in an SMS format, which once run will auto configure your system and again your MMS and internet settings will be back.

If you are updating your Samsung tablet via OTA or Over-The-Air, check that you have a strong signal in your current location. When you are updating via OTA, you are using your cellular network to download the update that’s why you need to have a strong signal so the downloading will not be interrupted or get disconnected.

Also, before you can download the update via OTA, your device’s “Data” connection must be enabled so you can connect to the internet with your cellular network. If your tablet says there is no internet connection, enable “Data” on your device. Another way to download the update via OTA is to connect via Wi-Fi. Connect your tablet to a Wi-Fi network then start downloading the update.

Also, try using Samsung Kies to update your device.
