Hi, I have a Samsung S4 Smartphone and I really like it. It is packed with so many remarkable features. It was working fine at first and I really enjoyed it. But lately, I am having trouble since it keeps on lagging. It will randomly hangs up and will stop on responding. I will turn it off and on to make it work again. I already tried to reset my phone and check on the memory. No luck! What can I do to fix this issue? Thanks.

Many users experience this problem, since the moment they use the phone out of the box.

Stuttering and lag when entering or exiting applications, freezing when unlocking and even when pressing the Home button, you would think that a smartphone like this would work as smooth as silk, but for any of these problem, a definitve solution would be the following steps:

1. Go to the Settings menu and access the "Developer options" selection and scroll down.

2. Look for the "Window animation scale" , "Transition animation scale" and "Animator duration scale" options. Turn these settings off by selecting "Animation is off".

3. Also, you should disable the Unlock Effect by changing it to None. To do this go to the Settings menu and access the My device section and look up "Lock screen" option.

4. The smartphone has a S-Voice option. Open the S-Voice and go into the Settings menu and uncheck the Open via the home key option so that this will disable the double tap activation for S-voice, eliminating any Home button lag.
