Runtime error with a program. I get a .Net framework error message

Hello experts,

I got a problem. Whenever I try to start, the program gives me this error message:

Unhandled exception has occurred in a component in your
application. If you click Continue, the application will ignore this error
and attempt to continue.

An exception occurred during the operation, making the result invalid.
Check InnerException for exception details.

Runtime error with a program. I get a .Net framework error message

There are a lot of reasons why the error message “Unhandled exception has occurred in a component in your application” might occur. The questions are, were you the author of the program? What was the program were you trying to start when this happened? Were there any changes made on your system settings before the issue started?
