A Runtime Error has occurred on MS Office

Hi. My pc is running windows vista ultimate edition. Before, I can still open and use Microsoft office with ease. But after my kids playing their favorite game I cannot open Microsoft word, excel, PowerPoint and some programs on my pc because of this runtime error.

A Runtime Error has occurred on MS Office

There are many problem due to which this type of error occurred. First you have to check the location of you software that at which drive and folder it is installed. To find out you location click on the icon and select the properties option. Now click on the general view and select the button find target. When you click on this button new window will be open which show the exact location of you files see any thing is deleted or effected by an mean. If yes then you software will not working properly and you. Thanks.

A Runtime Error has occurred on MS Office

 

Hello Donald!

I also have encountered this kind of problem and it’s hard to debug.  One of the cause is the location of the file was not on its original location. Try to check if the location of your installed MS Office software is  the same as its location during the first time you installed it.

How to check the file location:

1.       Right click the installed file

2.       Select properties.

3.       In the General Menu you can find its file location.

If the location did not match to its original location  try to do the following:

1.      Go to control panel and select uninstall program

2.      Find MS Office software program and select uninstall.

After uninstalling the program, re-install it again.
