Roxio Creator 2009 MyDVD runtime error!

Ok here's my dilemma, Today when I open up Roxio MyDVD and try to create a DVD in advanced mode, this runtime error pops up whenever I am adding new movie:

Runtime error!
Program: …gram Files/Roxio Creator 2009/VideoUI 11/VideoWave11.exe
Abnormal program termination

Here's the screenshot:

Then as soon as I clicked OK another runtime error pops up:

I have never encountered this error before.

Roxio Creator 2009 MyDVD runtime error!

I think the cause of the error that you encountered is the video file you loaded. I also experience some error when I’m doing some video editing but slightly different from this one.

There are times when the video editing software can not properly load the video file you want to edit. The file is already loaded as what the video editor says and shows on its panel.

And no error has popped up. But the truth is, the full content of the video was not really loaded and only partial of it was loaded. And the error pops when you are about to do the editing or when you are saving it.

I don’t know what’s with this video editing tools that they treat some video files sometimes as if they don’t support the video format of the file.

What I usually do with this is that, I convert the video file to another format that the video editor also supports. In your case, you are trying to create a DVD, why don’t you try cutting the video to shorten it a little bit. Maybe that’s also the reason.
