I was typing a power point presentation for my class and burned the file in a DVD . When I try to open my disk, a prompt saying that the file cannot be opened appeared. I badly needed the files because I don’t have time to make another one. Can I still retrieve the file using mac osx PowerPoint recovery?

Perhaps, there are some scratches on the DVD or it is not burnt properly. I suggest you to try Stellar Phoenix Mac DVD Recovery to recover your PowerPoint file from the DVD.
