Is it possible to retrieve emails from an Exchange Server 2007 which uses POP3 access for email download?

Your question is not clear.

You want to retrieve mail on the client of an exchange server like outlook?

Yes it is possible. The connection between a client and the exchange server can be in any shape, it could be SMTP. POP, IMAP etc., it all depends on the configuration done on the exchange server and available links between the client and the server.

However, if you mean that the mails are retrieved on the exchange server using POP3 from some ISP etc. then also this is also possible, BUT not a recommended solution.

To use this you have to install some Exchange connector for POP3 mailboxes available from Microsoft. But again it is not a supported configuration for FULL EXCHANGE servers.
