To send an email, Office 365 SMTP relay requires the following things:
Connector in Exchange Online, Port 25, Static IP address (address change) and Licensing
Below are some limitations of Office 365 SMTP relay:
• Make sure that your IP addresses are not blocked by spam list as it can disrupt the sent mail.
• There are certain limits for sending as there is higher risk of the Delivery Pool.
• It requires the unshared static IP addresses only or you should use a certificate for the same.
