Watermark.exe is a very unsafe process that can infiltrate your system usually from the web maybe by browsing some unknown websites and downloading something from there. Once you see it on your computer it can be sign that there is already an infection happening in your system.

The watermark.exe file can usually be found in this location: C:Program FilesMicrosoftWaterMark.exe. You don’t normally see a “Microsoft” folder because when installing different Microsoft products the folder doesn’t only come in a single-word description like microsoft frontpage, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Visual Studio, Microsoft Works, and so on.

So when you see this folder you better check what’s inside. When you see the file inside, the next best thing to do is to scan your hard drive with your antivirus.

Update your antivirus then run a full system scan on your computer.
