Hi. These days my laptop is working slowly. And guess it is probably due to the amount of files stored on it. The memory is not empty and probably that is why it is taking so much of time in processing. I was thinking of transferring all the extra and not so useful files to the PC. So can you please suggest me fast ways of getting a data backup and best way to transfer data from one computer to another. Thanks in advance.

Hi. You are right. Your laptop has slowed down due to the increased load on its memory. Let me suggest you fast and the best way to transfer data from one computer to another.
1) Usage of external storage media External storage media such as pen drives, CDs and DVDs can be used to transfer files from one computer to another. Everybody keeps a USB handy these days, and it also provides a lot of space to keep the files. Either a copy of the files can be made and transferred, or the original files can be transferred removing it completely from the PC from which the file transfer is being made.
2) Wireless Local Area Network This is another fast means of sharing the files. It requires your PC to be in the sharing mode. For Windows 7, open My Computer, right lick on Local Disk(c drive) and open its properties. Then click on advanced sharing, type in the share name and click on OK.
3) Easy transfer cable Nowadays, there is this new technology available in the market for the latest Windows OS versions for making the transfer faster with the help of a double male USB cable. However, it is a bit expensive but totally worth it.Â
