Recover Files from Old Corrupted HDD

I was getting message that my hard disk is corrupted. So I bought a new Hitachi hard disk and change the old one. When I am trying to connect the old hard disk through a USB port, it was not detected by the computer. My personal files which are very important is in the old hard disk and I need to recover it. Please guide me to get those files as I don’t want to give the disk outside. Please help me to get out of this problem. I will thankful for all help.

There are several Data recovery tools available on the market. Most data recovery tools are expensive but there are also some that are for free. Your may wish to try SpinRite or Kernel Data Recovery. Kernel Data Recovery tool offers a free demo versions of the software that you can use to evaluate the data loss status of your Hard Disk. Another procedure that some used as it’s free of charge is placing your Hard disk on the Freezer. Place the Hard disk on a zip lock bag then freeze it in for about 6 hours.
