I have a question regarding what is a dns error on ps3. I was not able to find anything about it anywhere; can anyone help me in explaining this?

Step 1:
First, open a web browser and input your routers IP address in URL bar (mostly, the default IP address is 192.168.1.1 or so).

Next, enter your credentials to access the router. Then,select OK to view console application.

Then, go to Password tab.

Under the password tab, you will observe UPnP settings in the routers password settings.
Step 5:
Now,click Disable under UPnP box and then select Save.
Step 6:
Close your routers console and then restart your PS. Connect your PS to the internet and check if the problem persist.
Since it is a DNS error, the problem has something to do with your internet connection. Normally, when a DNS error is triggered, you don’t have internet connection. Since the error was triggered on your Sony PlayStation 3, make sure your console is connected to your Wi-Fi router. Also, make sure your console is not too far from the router because it can affect the signal of the Wi-Fi.
If you verify your console is connected to your Wi-Fi network, try resetting your Wi-Fi router. Turn off your Wi-Fi router and unplug it from the power for about 10 to 20 seconds. Press any button on the router to drain any power left to complete the power cycle. After this, plug the router back to the power and turn it on.
When the router is ready, try connecting your console again to the internet and see if it works. If you still can’t access the internet on your console, make sure your console is configured properly.
