Hello Muench,

To fix this issue you need to replace Framework.xml  file with the downloaded file using the below links. I have shown below the steps and choose the steps according to your method.

If you download and installed Quickbook

  • Go to the Windows Temp folder by entering ‘%temp%’ in the search field.
  • Find the folder with the same name to your QuickBook version, which might be Pro, Premier, or Enterprise and open it.
  • If you are unable to find it, run the QuickBook setup again until ‘Welcome to QuickBooks’ screen comes, and stop the installation. The folder will now appear in the %temp% directory.
  • Go to that folder, open the ‘QBooks’ folder.
  • Right-click the Framework.xml file andrenames it to Framework.old.
  • Download the new Framework.xml file.

                        Download Framwork.xml

  • Save the file in the same folder as the Framework.old file.
  • Now go back to the installation folder and run the setup.exe.
  • If setup.exe does not begin the installation, try QuickBooks.msi located in the same folder.

If you using a CD to install QuickBooks

  • Copy the QBooks folder and ThirdParty folder to your hard drive from the CD.
  • Open the copied QBooks folder.
  • Right-click the ‘Framework.xml’ and renames it to Framework.old.
  • Download the new Framework.xml.
  • Savethe file in the same folder as the Framework.old file
  • Run the setup.exe file and if it does not begin the installation, QuickBooks.msi file located in the same folder.

Thank you.
