Query about iPad 2 storage

I am looking forward of having an iPad 2 but beforehand, I have some questions in my mind that I would want to share with all of you and ask for your suggestions and ideas. I was wondering how much of the iPad 2's storage is taken up with pre-installed applications like Photo Booth, Face Time, Safari, and iOS?

Secondly, will there be any cases that non-Apple gadgets will use a magnet to put the iPad to sleep and cover the back? Thanks you in advance!

Query about iPad 2 storage

Hi,

I also have an iPad2 (16 GB). I uploaded photos & videos around 10 GB but then I noticed that I had only 4 GB space left !! Then again I just deleted all the files & saw that the pre-installed applications taken up 2GB space of my iPad2 ! You can try the same process to view the space usage on your iPad2. So If you buy an iPad2 with 16 GB storage you will have 14 GB to upload your files.

There are some non-Apple gadgets which use a magnet to put the iPad2 to sleep and cover the back. I am using the Belkin brand. Its working very well and I am very happy with it. The cover is also available in different colors.
