PSAPI.DLL error in Pinnacle Studio

Hi Everyone,

I have this error every time i launch my Pinnacle Studio 10. The error only shows up after the Pinnacle Studio 10 update labeled "10_5" is installed. While I am running Windows XP 32-bit OS. I am trying to figure out how to get around this error. But If you guys knows about this please post a fix.

studio.exe – Entry Point Not Found

The procedure entry point GetProcessImageFileNameW could not be located in the dynamic link library PSAPI.DLL.

PSAPI.DLL error in Pinnacle Studio

Michelleq,

The solution I can give you is to replace the psapi.dll in your system. It could update your Pinnacle from 10 to 10.5.

Go to this link:

It is the same site where I get most of my dynamic link library (.dll) files.

After downloading, there are two options that you can use in putting the psapi.dll in your system registry.

1. Go to Start > Run > regsrvr32 then a space, then the filename of the .dll.

E. g.: regsrvr32 psapi.dll then press Enter.

Or

2. Copy the psapi.dll in your C:WindowsSystem32 folder. Then copy the new psapi.dll file on your Pinnacle program folder under the program files menu in your C:.

Reboot if necessary.
