“The program has encountered a serious problem and needs to shut down”

I am currently running a PC that has an AMD Processor with 2GHz and 1GB of RAM with all drivers installed. I can even connect my USB camera and it works perfectly well but when it comes to CCV it gives me a hard time. I have even gone ahead to download the missing .dll and placed it in the CCV folder and also into the system32 due to the *.dll error message I was receiving whenever I tried to start CCV. I attempted to restart the program in vain as a black window popped up which was bearing a message with the words “The program has encountered a serious problem and needs to shut down”, it also asks me whether  I would like to send a report to Microsoft on this error. Is there anything that I have left out that should be installed?  Please help for I don’t understand this anymore.

Hallo Rex,

The CCV program may be corrupt and therefore you will need to install a fresh one. Try running the disk clean up utility to remove all unused files.

Run an application called ccleaner which will find all the registry errors and fix them. You can download ccleaner for free from the internet. Download and install it and then launch it and use it to fix all the registry errors and delete all unused file on the computer.

After you are done with the clean up, try installing the application again and see if it works well this time.

Hi,

 

You just simply scan your system to check if there an infected files from viruses and spyware or maybe a corrupted  data to your system just simply check on that and then try to download the error repair tool and then you just simply install that to your machine and then just simply restart after you install the error repair tool and then after that you just simply scan the system or maybe the software to check if there an error to your computer after finishing the scanning to your computer you just simply repair the found errors to your machine just simply try that to your PC.
