Hello experts,

I got the following Profile Mismatch error when I was trying to copy and paste image data, or copy drag an image using the move tool. Is this the problem with colors mismatch? I have tried to search the solution but I need expert’s advice to resolve this issue permanently. Any suggestion would be really appreciated.

Thanks.

Hi Richard,
The error is because you might be using a non-sRGB color profile.
Solution 1:
a) Click ‘Edit’, ‘Assign profile’ in the original image. The color shifts from the original image.
b) Now, Click ‘Edit’, ‘Convert to Profile’ in the original image.
c) Select ‘Perceptual’ or ‘Relative Colorimetric’ method to avoid unnecessary color shifts.
Solution 2:
There can be problem with the adjustment layer or blend mode. The solution to it is use Copy Merged (Cmd-Shift-C) key.
