Hi, I am stuck when I tried to install the Hallmark Card studio 2011 because it is taking too long to copy new files. What could be the possible reasons behind it?

Hi  Alwyn, Is there enough space for the installation? Isyour OS ok?  temporarily disabled antivirus? OK let's  start. Restart your computer. Insert disc  and check cable connecting  the printer, you will also include that during the installation, that is necessary because you will be printing cards. you have to register your program too. It is recommended because when there is updates, it will be automatic. Check if you have enough RAM do this  by clicking start>control panel> system.  It needs 512 megabytes of Ram and 800 megahertz processor. Re-install the software(just follow the wizard instruction) If the program crashes click start>control panel>programs>installed program>right click hallmark card studio>delete. Restart  again, we do this because it's normal for hallmark not to install on the first time.

If you are installing Hallmark Card Studio 2011 and the installation is taking forever to finish, the problem is not usually with the software but with the hardware you are using. You should check again the system requirements for Hallmark Card Studio 2011 specifically the hardware part.

Hallmark Card Studio 2011 supports Windows XP, Windows Vista, and Windows 7 while the newer version, Hallmark Card Studio 2014, has extended support until Windows 8. I didn’t find a clearer info on the hardware specification for Hallmark Card Studio 2011 but with the newer Hallmark Card Studio 2014, it requires at least Intel Pentium 4 or faster processor, 512 MB RAM, and a DVD drive.

Since the newer version can support older processors like Pentium 4, I guess you will not have a problem with the 2011 version. If you have a much lower memory specification, much lower than 512 MB, I guess you should upgrade and add more RAM to your computer. If this is not an option, make sure no other applications are running while installing Hallmark Card Studio 2011.

Because if there are other programs running, it adds a drag to the installation process adding the fact that you will have a much lower amount of available RAM to use for the installation making the entire installation takes longer to finish because the CPU can’t focus more on the installation.
