I am looking for support for my Windows 7 because I am having problems with enabling and disabling the network sim from the adapter.
I was wondering if the kind of support I am looking for is already available here. If you have any ideas, I’d like to learn about them.

This SIM is going to be used for your mobile broadband connection, is that correct? Both the SIM card and the mobile broadband adapter have to work together to be useful. If you disable one, the other won’t be useful and unable to function as long as both devices are in the same computer. For most mobile broadband utilities, there’s really no way to disable the SIM, however, you have the option to disable the mobile broadband adapter itself or disable the mobile broadband radio. This will disable the use of the SIM on that system. If you use the SIM on another system however, or on a cellular phone, you will still be able to use the SIM, provided, on another system, the SIM is associated with the mobile broadband adapter on that system by the internet service provider.
If you are connecting to the internet with a USB broadband stick, you need a valid SIM card to operate the broadband stick. The modem will also not work if you don’t install the software which is included in the stick itself. To use this kind of broadband wireless modem, insert the broadband stick on the USB port then install the modem’s software when you are prompted.
When installation is complete, the next step is to get the correct APN settings from your service provider. Without the wireless connection settings, the broadband stick is still unusable. Check also if the correct settings are pre-programmed on the SIM card.
If you purchase the broadband stick from your service provider, the complete steps to activate your connection should already be included in the package just like with my Globe broadband stick. You just need to follow the instructions to operate the modem.
