Problems connecting with Vodafone software and Win7 64bit

I installed Windows 7 Pro 64 bit. The install and computer worked very well, but I eventually ran into a problem a week ago. I've tried uninstalling and re-setting up the software, but I can't seem to manage to get onto the web. It is really important that I have this setup since I will be traveling throughout South Africa where Vodafone has service.

I've tried talking with technical support, but the gentleman who has been helping me has not been as successful in getting my issue resolved.

During the install, the laptop didn't recognize the device. He told me to try uninstalling and reinstalling, I did that but it still doesn't seem to work. I still haven't managed to get it working and it seems to continuously have problems when trying to connect.

Has anybody been able to setup the Vodafone software successfully with Win 7 Pro 64?

Problems connecting with Vodafone software and Win7 64bit

Hi Zanyap,

Hope the following steps will guide you in fixing this issue.

• The problem you are getting it is because of the reasons as you have installed windows and as your operating system is 64 bit then the software may be installed only on 32 bit as it will be different for each bit operating system.

• The other reason might be that you may not be installed correctly the software as itself there might be a chance on missing the files so its better to perform installation perfect.

• Its better first to uninstall the completely software by restarting the system after un-istallation completed to remove all the files related to it makes a complete uninstallation.

• Now make a fresh copy with installation from the beginning as if refer that all files are included if the file is missing then it might not be working with all features properly.
