A problem while opening xls in dropbox

Hello Experts,

A problem while opening xls in dropbox. It says unable to open file, I downloaded the xls file from my dropbox account send by a friend via dropbox and I am wondering what is the main reason why I can’t open the file. I need to resolve this as soon as possible for the file content is very important.

A problem while opening xls in dropbox

Hi Good day! Its two reason, First is there's an uploading error, sometimes internet have errors during uploading. Second is that during your downloading from the dropbox there is an error. Or Due to files sending the files has been corrupted or during file being accepted its has been corrupted. Thank you and I hope this information help.

A problem while opening xls in dropbox

To resolve this problem you have to make a new extension file. I will suggest you to open the existing .xlsx file and then save it as with then Office 2003 extension xls. Now open the new saved (.xls) file and to send it in Dropbox just create the export. I hope this will fix the problem and sends the new file into the Dropbox

A problem while opening xls in dropbox

Either the file is corrupted or it is not uploaded properly. These are two basic reasons that can cause to fail the download if you are able to see the files online then you can view them online and then download the view able file. This will possibly solve your problem or you need to tell your friend that the file your friends send earlier is not able to view and there is some possible virus or file is corrupted so he/she can upload it again to be viewed by you.
