Problem with USB web camera serial number identification?

I recently purchased HP USB web camera and facing a weird problem. It came with support software, I installed it successfully. But at every startup system asks me for USB web camera serial number identification. I was wondering if someone knows why I have to identify serial number again and again at every startup. Is there a way to stop this? Any kind of help would be appreciated.

Hello.

I also own a camera, but I am not facing with this type of problem.
So I strongly suggest that you go to Start>Control Panel>Add/Remove Programs and delete the whole camera installation.
Then plug the camera in again and do the whole thing over.
If this does not work, contact me again with the right model of the camera and we will find the correct serial number if needed.
