A problem with updating inbox outlook 2010 slow. When I tried to refresh the inbox and update if there are some incoming emails I noticed that the update was slow and was not able to meet all my expectation. What is the main cause of this problem and is there  a way to troubleshoot outlook 2010? Give me some advice. Thank you.

Hello Lindsey,

Are you updating it from the internet directly or you have downloaded the updates and you are installing them on your computer? If you are updating directly from the internet, then you will have to make sure that your connection speed to the internet is strong enough to allow for the updates to download and install.

Hi,

I think I got your point. By update you mean to press the send/receive button to send and receive emails. Update purely depends on the size of the email being sent or received. You will receive small emails quickly and heavy emails (larger in size) will take more time. Better internet connection will provide you little help. Usually it works like this.
