Hello Experts,

I am using a Windows XP PC and I recently bought an iPad. My problem is, when transferring my photos from my new iPad to my PC, the photos will be shuffled and the order will become unsorted. How can I organize my photos after transferring it? Any ideas please let me know.

Thank you.

Solution: Hi there,

Prerequisites: Since iOS 5, the stock Photos app that the iPad comes with now has a feature which allows you to add albums and organize your photos. Go and check your iOS version if it is the latest; this can be done by tapping on "Settings" -> "General" -> "About." Your iOS version should at least be version 5. If not, then update it to the latest version.

To update to the latest version you need the latest iTunes to be installed. If have iTunes already, open it. Then plug in your device. iTunes automatically detects your device by default; and when your iOS version is outdated, it automatically notifies you of a new update by default.

If the notification was disabled, click on your device under "DEVICES" in iTunes. Then under "Version" click on "Check for Update" and follow the subsequent instructions and it will update your iPad.

Once your iPad is updated, we can now make a photo album and organize photos.

How to create a Photo Album in "Photos".

It is actually very simple. Tap on "Photos" app. There will be three buttons on the top bar: "Photos," "Albums," and "Events." Tap on "Albums." Once there, tap on "Edit" on the upper-right corner. Then a new button on the upper-left corner will appear named "New Album."

Tap on "New Album" to create your own album and name it. After you have named it, you will be taken to all your photos on your iPad. Tap on the photos that you want to add in your new album. After you have selected all the photos you want, tap "Done" on the upper-right corner.

That's it.

Hi Ace,

You can download the application Photo Manager Pro from the app world . It will help to
manage photos and videos. You can do the file transfer by using FTP Transfer, HTTP
Transfer, Peer to Peer Transfer, or USB Transfer.

You can also do the Basic Transfer that is Import/Export photos using Photos app.

Also you can organize folders and photos. You can do the basic folder functions like
Create, Move, Delete folders, drag and drop to reorder folders etc.

You can customize background and folder color.

You can organize these photos by adding to sub folders. Also do all the file operations with this software.
So this will be a more useful app if you have thousands of photos to organize.

Thanks!
