Good day Byers,

I can help you  access the admin page.

To setup the router, use the Ethernet cable that is in box.

Plug the cable into any of the ports on the back of router,

and into the LAN ports at the back of the pc.

Type the following into the browser: https://www.linksys.com/ca/support-article?articleNum=139152

This will take you take the logon page to access the admin page of the router.

 Click logon.

Leave the password blank if you haven`t set one yet, and submit.

The page is where you can configure your router.

Click on Wireless, next click on Channel and SSID this where you will find the name of the network next to SSID

You can proceed to secure your router without unauthorized use by activating the pre-shared key that is on the bottom of the router. Click on wireless, security where you can change the key , if necessary from 8-63 characters.

Alternatively you can use  the setup cd if it is supplied with your router.

Use the Ethernet cable and connect the router and the  modem, both not plugged in the power socket.

When both are connected plug all into the power sockets.

I explain that the pre-shared key, and the SSID (the network name) is on the bottom of the router.

Switch the pc on and insert the setup cd.

Put the network name and the pre-shared key.

Now you connected to the internet, very simple.

 If this is not helpful,

You can reset the router to default settings.

You can access the manufacture`s website for more help.
