Problem with my Windows XP PC please help

Hi guys,

I have Acer PC with windows XP installed in it. The problem I'm experiencing since few days is that it won't start until it restarts itself several times. I'm really irritated and unable to work properly due to this problem. It doesn't even show any error message just re boots itself again and again. Please help

Hello,

Have you added/updated any hardware in your PC?
If yes then boot your pc in Safe mode (f8 during startup) and uninstall the drivers/software for that particular hardware.

While in safe mode – Click on start > run command and type msconfig – in the startup tab – click on disable all and reboot.
It should fix the problem.

Problem with my Windows XP PC please help

There are two reasons which may become the reason that your pc restarts again and again

1. It is because some of the windows files are missing or get corrupted. So try restore your windows or reinstall windows.

2. The other reason may be your CPU fan is fluctuating as it is not getting complete power or it is getting to expire. Replacing this component will solve your issue.
