Hi guys,

The problem is with my creative sketching and painting application Krita. While creating an image it has thrown an error message. It has failed to open the file. The screenshot of the error message is as under. How can I get a remedy of this issue? Please help.

Hello Olivia,

The problem seems to be with the image that you are trying to open, and therefore you will need to check it and make sure that it has been saved in a format that is supported by Krita. Also check if the problem may be with Krita app itself. You can try editing another application and see it will work.

Error message shows that the file you are trying to open is not of the format that you are opening to the program. You can only open the files that are supported to the program. Also check that you have specific filters for the file you are trying to open.

Krita supports the following file formats when filters are available:
