The problem is with my Avast Free Antivirus

Hi Experts,

The problem is with my Avast Free Antivirus. It declares that it has been stopped, or it is in an inconsistent state. It gives the error message

UNSECURED Your system is not protected. Please use the Fix Now button to start protecting your system.

I am anxious with this message.

Anybody has any idea please help me to solve this problem.

Hi,

Use the fix now button. It is possible that another program interfered with the process of Avast and stopped it. Let Avast fix it for you and restart it. If the problem still occurs after fixing it, you might want to try re-installing it. If it still won't work, try another free antivirus like AVG or kaspersky and see if it detects something that Avast cannot detect.

The problem is with my Avast Free Antivirus

Hello.

Some antivirus required to be updated after installation. Avast free antivirus also requires updating process in order to protect your computer. That is the reason the avast is showing unsecured warning. Try to fix the avast antivirus by clicking on the FIX NOW button.

Make sure that you have a good internet connection so that the update can be completed with no interruption.

Hi Joby,

I think you have recently installed in your PC and it is a 30 days trial version.

Please remember that every antivirus checks for update after installation and Avast is not free from it. After installation it searched for update but could not find. That’s why it showed this message.

Please connect your Internet and press the button Fix now. Then your update will be downloaded and installed automatically. A restart may ask.

If it does not work, then upgrade your Avast Antivirus. Thanks.
