Problem in installing AVG version 2011

Hello Everyone,

I am encountering a problem when I am trying to install AVG version 2011 in my computer. When the installation is done, almost to 75%, an error message appears as “error code 0xc0070643”. The same problem occurs each time I am making an attempt to install the AVG. Can somebody help me fix this issue? Your help would be greatly appreciated.

Problem in installing AVG version 2011

Hey,

I had a same problem for installing AVG. The error code 0*c0070643 was appearing all the time when i was installing AVG.But I got a way to fix it.So now I am going to tell you how to fix this problem.

Just follow below…..

At first download a latest AVG remover software, then setup it on your desktop and run.

After removing AVG, reinstall AVG but make sure that you are downloading AVG form Avg web site.
You can be found in,

https://www.avg.com/en-us/homepage

And its name like:avg_remover_stf_*86_2011_1165.exe
 
Simply download this and fix that problem.

Problem in installing AVG version 2011

 

I have faced this problem about 6 months before.

I have a clue. Try installing the same .exe file in some other machine. If it installs successfully, then you uninstall all the antivirus software from your machine and the heavy software that take a lot of memory like ORACLE etc. Then install it.

Next if the above does not make it then you have to read the system requirements and match with the one you are using.

Another way out is that you install the O S in side-by-side keeping the present O S. Install it in the new OS. If it works, your DLL files are corrupted. Update/Repair the current installation of O S or use the new installed O S for further work.
