Problem encountered after downloading PDF file using Adobe Acrobat /Reader X

When I tried to download a PDF file using the Adobe Acrobat/Reader X the following problem occurred: “There is a problem with Adobe Acrobat/Reader. If it is running, please exit and try again. (103:103)” What will I do with this?  Please give me some advice. Thank you.

Hello Alfredo,

That maybe caused by the browser that you are using. I also had the same problem and I solved it by doing the following:

• You need to open your profile folder
• On the menu bar at the top of the Firefox or any browser that you are using click the help menu and choose troubleshoot information.
• A tab with troubleshooting information will open.
• Click the open containing folder show in finder
• Click the HELP MENU
• Other the basic application in selection and you need to open the folder show again
• Click the Firefox button and remove or delete the mimetypes.rdf file.

If this process won't work for you, I suggest you to upgrade your adobe software into the latest versions.

May be your program you are using is not up to date and the file you just received is of another version and that's the reason you are getting this problem. Make sure that you are using a full version of Adobe acrobat reader in this case and make sure that it is up to date.

The second thing to check is that this file doesn't contain some virus in attachment and it is a virus free file. Make sure that you are not getting some virus in your computer also make a full virus scan to your computer and make sure it is virus free. Check the same file on another computer and make sure it works fine on the other computer. In most of such cases the files contain errors and files may be corrupted. So make sure that you are not getting this kind of error. I am sure that after you check this all you will be able to solve your problem.
