Problem with Creative Game Port.

I just bought a Creative live 5.1 sound card that is working correctly on windows XP and I switch to It into pc with installed windows 7 OS.

The problem is that first time install this PCI sound card in windows 7 it works correctly and nice sounds come out of it but after few days some time sound like scratchy and it’s game port not working at all.

Please help me for solve my problem.

Problem with Creative Game Port.

You can try this steps:

• Remove the sound card and use the built-in one on your motherboard.
• Try a different sound card if you have one available.
• Reinstall the sound driver for you sound card and see if it works.

If the problem is still the same and there is nothing you can do then it seems that your problem is not the software driver itself but rather the hardware. If you just bought it and the warranty is still available, you can just return it to the store where you bought it and then have it replace. If the warranty is not available, then I suggest that you buy a new one.
