Hello,
I am getting the following error message after pressing the Power View icon. I am using Windows 7 OS and often receive this message when reopening the spreadsheet and click on the Power View tab. How can I fix this issue? Please provide a solution. Thanks in advance.

Resolution 1:
Upgrade your Power Pivot datamodel to datamodel of PowerPivot for Excel 201 using the following steps:

Open the Power Pivot sheet Version (11.1.3000) in Office 2013.

Select the Power Pivot in the Ribbon.

After that press the Manage Data Model button in the Power Pivot Ribbon.

The following message will appear: “This workbook has a Power Pivot data model created using a previous version of the PowerPivot add-in. You'll need to upgrade this data model with PowerPivot for Excel 2013.”

Press OK and then start the upgrades of your Power Pivot model.

After upgrading successfully, you can press the Power View button to start using Power View.
Resolution 2:
This error also occurs when the Excel workbook has opened in compatibility mode. You will need to go to File menu, and then select compatatibility mode and convert. Then you can start again with importing the data into powerpivot.
